Profile-Daqing Yang

Dr. Daqing Yang, Associate Professor of History and International Affairs at George Washington University, has contributed to the recent history debate in his many publications. Those include ‘The Malleable and the Contested: The Nanjing Massacre in Postwar Japan and China’, in T. Fujitani et. al., Perilous Memories: The Asia-Pacific War(s) (Durham, N.C.: Duke University Press, 2001); ‘Convergence or Divergence?: Recent Historical Writings on the Rape of Nanjing’, American Historical Review 104.3 (June 1999). He has previously studied in Japan at Yokohama City University and Keio University.
